The Zen Master PoHwa Sunim, who for the last 18 months has been away serving as head monk at HwaGyeSa's Seoul International Zen Center in South Korea, will be at the Baltimore Zen Center this Sunday, 30 August.
The day will begin in the BZC Dharma Hall with ceremonies open to the public starting at 10 A.M. to be followed by a communal lunch. Undoubtedly, the day will proceed with general camaraderie, meditation sessions, koan interviews, dharmic combat / koan exchanges, and associated Zen goofiness addressing the deepest matters of life and death.
And, yes, all of this is subject to change! We will see how the day unfolds...
Stay up to date with events surrounding PoHwa Sunim's visit on the BZC Twitter Feed.

This is excellent! I've never visited, is this something you'd recommend for a first-time visitor?
Everyone is welcome to attend!
